About Artist

         Being born and raised in Jamaica with a very traditional belief on what to study, who to become in society, a doctor, nurse, accountant, creativity has always been my gift I was given. In preschool as a toddler, my teacher told my mom I would be very skilled with my hands as I could trace and write words before I could read. Unfortunately, my artistic skills were never supported or believed to be secure enough to be pursued as a career. So, I never studied art beyond high school. 

         I have been introverted for as long as I have known myself and suffer also from anxiety, but through it all art has been the only thing over the years that truly brings me peace and feels authentic to me. Gradually my skills developed from traditional pencil art to digital art to now exploring paint mediums and all I want to do is share what I Iove with others.

        My Inspiration comes simply from appreciating the beauty that surrounds me and makes me feel strongly, from the expression on your face, the body language in your movements or a flower blossoming in the springtime. But as I continue growing and learning, I would love to just share a huge part of me with you. Because Creating Is who I am.
